Some may ask about the apostrophe in Paw's. This has a bit of family history behind it. My Dad was known to me affectionately as 'Paw', a name derived from the Beverley Hillbillies TV programme from the 1960's. The sad death of my Dad in April 2007 gave me the funds and the kick to make some life changes that led to me training to be a dog groomer. In a way I see him as an integral part of this so Mucky Pups belongs to my Paw.
My Canine Experience
I have always had a great love of dogs. We currently have 2 in our household, 1 of which has come from rescue. Training, doggie sports and activities are what I spendmost of my time doing when I am not grooming.
I have a Bsc (Hons) in Canine Behaviour & Training. I run a variety of training classes under the name Guiding Paws where I specialise in puppy education
I trained for my City & Guilds in South London with Colin Taylor & Heidi Anderton both of who are award winning groomers,
excellent teachers and have been practising the art for many years in the UK, Asia & USA. I will continue to invest in regular day
coaching with them to keep abreast of new ideas and changes in the industry.
